Golden Milk
Ingredients
1. whole milk
1.5 cup
3. nutmeg
1 pinch
5. cinnamon
1 cup
7. ghee
1/3 tsp
2. turmeric
1/2 tsp
4. ginger powder
1 pinch
6. raw sugar
1 pinch
Ayurvedic Information
Golden milk does not have to be fancy or expensive when you make your own. Get whole fat non-homegenized milk if possible, ethical and close to the source, and make a night time ritual of this whole food for easier sleep, strong bones, inflammation reduction, relaxation, and to nourish Ojas, the principle of vitality and immunity.

Method of Preparation

Start warming the milk

In a side pan make a paste of the spices using the ghee or coconut oil

Pour a little of the milk into the side pan to soak up all the paste and then add it all back to the larger pot

Bring to one boil and then turn off heat.
